Vermont State Police said a truck hit a patch of black ice while traveling west on U.S. 78 in Alburgh, jack-knifed, crossed the double yellow line and crashed, launching 50 gallon barrels of blue printing ink into the woods.

The Carnival Triumph has been floating aimlessly about 150 miles off the Yucatan Peninsula since a fire erupted in the aft engine room early Sunday, knocking out the ship's propulsion system.
