In a test that's never before been done in the state of Washington, KIRO TV in Seattle had volunteers smoke pot and then put them behind the wheel to show what stoned driving looks like and the danger on the road.
Washington voters in November approved Initiative 502, which allows possession of small amounts of marijuana but prohibits people from using the substance outside their homes. Washington's measure establishes a system of state-licensed marijuana growers, processors and stores, where adults can buy up to an ounce. It also establishes a standard blood test limit for driving under the influence.
