NORTH ADAMS — Police continued to investigate the stabbing and slashing of a North Adams man Tuesday evening shortly before midnight.
North Adams Police Sgt. James Burdick told the North Adams Transcript that the 21-year-old victim stumbled into a city convenience store bleeding heavily and collapsed. The clerk called 911 and an ambulance transported the victim to the North Adams Regional Hospital, where he is still being treated for multiple knife wounds, including stabs and slashes.
The incident is being investigated by the North Adams Police Department Detective Bureau. The bureau had no comment on possible suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the North Adams police.
