A second victim, 19-year-old Dominic Emery of Erving, was discharged from Baystate.

MONTAGUE – Wyatt Bourbeau, one of two 19-year-olds injured in a snowmobile crash in the Montague Plains Saturday night, was listed in fair condition Tuesday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

The second victim, Dominic Emery of Erving, was discharged from Baystate, a spokesman said.

Turners Falls Fire Chief Robert Escott said the two men crashed into a barrier near Plains Road that had been put in place to keep motor vehicles out of the Montague State Wildlife Management Area. Escott said the crash occurred shortly before 9:15 p.m. but had no additional information.

Amy Mahler, a spokeswoman for Environmental Police, said the crash remains under investigation.

Bourbeau is a resident of Montague. Both men graduated from Turners Falls High School in 2013, a school official said.
