HOLYOKE - Skateboarders' ideas will be sought at a public meeting Thursday on the design of a skateboard park the city will build at Pulaski Park on St. Kolbe Drive.
The meeting is 6 to 8 p.m. at Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitors Center, 221 Appleton St.
Skateboard architect Mike McIntyre is scheduled to attend. The design envisions an in-ground concrete skateboard facility, according to a press release from the department.
Funding for the $250,000 park is from a federal Community Development Block Grant.
