BOSTON -- The deadline to register to vote in the June 25 special U.S. Senate election is Wednesday, June 5.
Local election offices will be open until 8 p.m. that day to register voters.
People who are U.S. citizens, residents of Massachusetts, and who will be at least 18
years old on or before June 25 are eligible to register. Voters who have moved within the state must register again to be able to vote at their new address.
Registrars of voters in most cities and towns will keep their offices open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. In towns with fewer than 1,500 voters, registrars must be open for registration at least from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m.
