The suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana and prescription drugs which he was not authorized to have.
EAST LONGMEADOW -- A disturbance at Peppa’s Pizza Thursday afternoon led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Springfield man on drug charges.
Sgt. Richard Bates said the disturbance at the Harkness Avenue eatery was reported shortly after 1:30 p.m. and responding police stopped a vehicle in the parking lot.
The passenger appeared to be under the influence of something and police found him to be in possession of marijuana and prescription pills for which he had no prescription.
Francis R. Santamaria, of 622 White St., Apt. 2, Springfield, was charged with two counts of possession of Class B drugs, one count of possession of Class D drugs and three counts of possession of Class E drugs.
