GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (AP) — An 82-year-old Great Barrington woman reported missing Tuesday has been found dead.
Police say the body of Arlene Elliott was found Thursday morning in a wooded area behind Fairview Hospital.
Her car had been found about a mile away in the parking lot of a pharmacy.
Chief William Walsh says Elliott was not a patient at the hospital. She had been described during the search as in failing health.
Police tell The Berkshire Eagle (http://bit.ly/YI10Gl ) they do not suspect foul play. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
