SPRINGFIELD – A woman injured in a two-vehicle crash at Liberty and Stafford streets Tuesday morning was taken to Baystate Medical Center with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the woman from her Nissan Sentra following the crash. It occurred near the state police barracks shortly before 7:40 a.m., said Dennis Leger, aide to Commissioner Joseph Conant.
The Sentra collided with an SUV, Leger said. No other injuries were reported.
