LUDLOW — A 22-year-old Ludlow resident is being held on $10,000 bail after he was arrested for allegedly threatening a 19-year-old man with a gun Monday morning.
Evan R. Nyman was arrested by Springfield police and Massachusetts State Police troopers after they spotted his car, a white BMW, parked at a barber shop on Boston Road.
He was returned to Ludlow and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime, Ludlow Police Sgt. Daniel Valadas said.

The alleged victim told police a man approached him shortly after 9 a.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building at 56 Hubbard St., showed a handgun and threatened to shoot him. The suspect, after making several threats, fled the scene, Valadas said.
Police did not say if the men knew each other.
A criminal complaint against Nyman is expected to be sought in Palmer District Court.
Nyman works as a barber, according to his Facebook page.
