South Hadley's annual powderpuff football game took on new meaning this year as a fundraiser for a local charity. Griffin's Friends, a local organization that benefits children with cancer will be the beneficiary of over $1300 raised at the game.
Although South Hadley walked away with a 46-27 win, the Granby girls came close to evening up the score in the second half. An interception and a couple of quick touchdowns put an end to the comeback and gave the South Hadley Tigers a comfortable margin of victory.
