The theme of the discussion is ending homelessness by trying to understand experiences of the homeless.
HOLYOKE -- A statewide nonprofit group will hold a discussion here about ways to end family homelessness Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New England Farm Workers Council, 225 High St.
Topics will include omitting discriminatory language from housing policies, housing resources, welfare reform and the current shelter system, said a press release from Homes for Families, of Boston.
"This year’s theme is 'Take a Walk in My Shoes: The Next Step to Understanding the Experience of Families, Providers and The State on the Path To Ending Discrimination and Homelessness,'" the press release said.
