Morrisey, 58, was hospitalized after the crash, which also injured three other people.
MILTON — Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Milton late Tuesday afternoon, but authorities have not said if anyone was cited in connection with the crash.
Three other people were injured in the incident, which happened just before 6 p.m. on Centre Street and remains under investigation by Milton police. Deputy Chief John King did not immediately return phone and email messages seeking comment.
"I am very concerned about the well-being of the other parties injured in this accident," Morrissey, a Quincy Democrat, said in a statement.
David Traub, a spokesman for the prosecutor, said his boss was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for injuries from the accident. Morrissey remained hospitalized at an undisclosed location as of Tuesday evening, while the other crash victims were treated at area hospitals and released.
Morrisey, 58, has been district attorney for Norfolk County since Jan. 2, 2011. Prior to that, he had a 34-year career as a state lawmaker, serving in both the House and Senate.
