PALMER - The Palmer Board of Health at the Town Administration Building, 4417 Main St., has free needle disposal containers for town residents.
The containers are for safe disposal of used needles, no questions asked. Board of Health officials said it is illegal to dispose of needles, also known as "sharps," in trash, recycling bins and compost containers.
