J.C. Kelly  

J.C. Kelly, 83, of Springfield, died Tuesday. Born in Bassfield, Miss., he had worked for many years at Savage Arms. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. A member of Alden Baptist Church, he previously served as an usher there. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball, playing cards and gardening, and will be remembered for having the greenest lawn on his street.
